  32. Macintosh users:

  35. The files and applications on this cdrom are sorted by category.
  36. To access the files or applications just double-click on the item you
  37. are interested in.  If the files are compress or binhexed, you have
  38. to uncompress or unbinhex them before using.  There are utilities on this
  39. CDROM specificly for this task. They are in the 'MacUtils' Folder.

  41. Note: some folders include a readme document.  We advise that you
  42. read the readme document before opening any files or applications.

  46. MSDOS and MS Windows users:
  47. --------------------------

  49. To make browsing the disc easier, we have included the VIEW program
  50. for MSDOS and Windows in the root directory of the CDROM.  This
  51. program allows you to page through the index files, browse through
  52. the images on the CDROM, view the documentation and uncompress the
  53. program(s) you want onto your hard disk.  
  54.  
  55. In order to start up the VIEW program, do one of the following:
  56.  
  57. For MSDOS: just type in VIEW to start to view this document.  For
  58. Windows: From the Program Manager, choose the RUN option under the
  59. FILE menu, then enter "D: VIEW" at the run option bar.  (Substitute
  60. your CDROM drive letter for "D" if it is different.)  
  61.  
  62. Electronic Product Catalog (MS Windows):
  63. ---------------------------------------

  65. To install Walnut Creek CDROM's Electronic Catalog, choose the RUN
  66. option from the FILE menu under Window's Program Manager.
  67. In the Command Line box, type in d:setup_a (Substitute d with
  68. the letter that identifies your CDROM drive if it's different
  69. from this example)
